Metro Beach

The camo tree

This past Friday we went to Metro Beach with Grandma and Grandpa Elsinger. We played on the playground, had a nice picnic, played in the Squirt Zone and spent a little time on the beach. I think Kaycee had the most fun in the squirt zone. We found a very interesting tree by the picnic table. We call it the camo tree.

The Detroit Zoo

Over a week ago (I know, I'm a bit behind) we visited the zoo with my sister-in-law Lori and her kids, Shane and Grace. We had a great time. I was a bit worried about Kaycee's behavior since we would be there during naptime. I thought she might fall asleep in the stroller, but she stayed awake the whole time. She behaved wonderfully and didn't cry once! It was a beautiful day, not too hot. Although like everyone else has said, the animals weren't moving around too much. Typical! Logan's favorite were the tigers and he loved riding the train. Here are some pics from the trip!

The Park

Thursday we took a little outing to Macomb Corners to play and picnic. They have a really nice playground that the little ones have grown accustomed to playing at when Bailey has soccer and baseball games. We hadn't been there since baseball, so it was fun to play again!

Bounce House

Last Tuesday I took the kids to the Bounce House on Hayes and 21 Mile. I thought it was supposed to rain that day, but of course it didn't. We also took Bailey's friend Gabe who had spent the night Monday night. The kids had fun playing unlimited video games and bouncing for 90 minutes. Logan made a new friend, like usual. He was a bit older and also named Logan. Here are some pics of the outing.

Logan's 4th Birthday!!

Yesterday we celebrated Logan's 4th birthday with a Sponge Bob family party. He was so excited. He got lots of nice presents and got to spend the day with all of his cousins, aunts, uncles, grandmas and grandpas. What a lucky boy!
