Mommy Parties!!

I was SO excited to actually be chosen for not just one, but TWO Mommy Parties in November!!

The first party was to try out some new toys from Mega Bloks Dragon Universe. So we invited a few boys over (and some girls for Kaycee) to PLAY! Mark and Logan put the Dual-Blast Dragon Hunter and Ultimate Action Dragon Destroyer together the night before the party. And thank goodness we did that, because they were not easy and the 6 year-olds definitely couldn't have done it alone. The girls even had fun taking the dragon eggs from the boys and playing with them! Logan seemed interested in the toys, but I knew it was only a matter of time before he got bored. The toys are AWESOME, don't get me wrong. They are just not Logan's thing. Give him a football and he'll be thrilled. But I knew Logan's friend Ethan would love this kind of stuff! Logan gave his friends each a dragon and gave Ethan one of the larger toys to take home. The boys had a blast! We gave some of the other dragons, coupons and CDs to some of Logan's other friends who couldn't make it to try out. These toys are great for boys that love action figures and make believe!

The second party we were chosen to host was Roman Town! I did not take any pictures, but had Bailey (13) and a couple of his friends try out the computer game. Logan (6) tried the game, but it was a bit difficult for him. The older boys really enjoyed it! We gave Bailey and Logan's friends some great winter hats and water bottles to take home! We also gave Bailey's friends a chance to go home and get their own free copy of Roman Town!

All in all, we loved the products and LOVE MOMMY PARTIES!!!

Beep Beep Stop

I barely remembered how to even sign in here! Well, after not posting for a long time, here is one! I took some pictures of our weekly Rhythm & Movement class at the library. It is usually just Kaycee and I that attend, but Logan did not have school that day. He joined along and remembered the songs and dances from last summer when he attended too. Kaycee and I highly recommend the classes the library offers. They are free and for kids that are not in daycare, they provide some socialization and learning! Kaycee loves it!

Visiting with Santa

Well, we finally got around to seeing Santa. There is usually some function we see him at, so we don't usually go to the mall to see him. But this year, the mall was our only option. Kaycee didn't cry, but would not sit on Santa's lap. Hence the reason I am in the picture. I wasn't planning on that! Logan told Santa he wants a race track, a baseball bat and 2 balls. We had a good time being that we do not frequent the mall. Grandma E met us there, we played in the play area and had lunch.

Kaycee's Funny Pics

Okay, this is it, I promise! But here are the funny pictures that were taken. In the last one she is twirling her hair. That is becoming quite the habit for her! She was having so much fun! She's such a happy girl!

Kaycee's 2 year-old Pictures

I took Kaycee (awhile ago now) to get her pictures taken. She did so well! I remember taking her to get her 1-year pictures. It was horrible! Here are a few of my favorites.

Kaycee's Halloween

I am so behind! Anyway, Kaycee also had a great Halloween! She was my little Tinkerbell and she was oh so cute! I was a bit worried I wouldn't be able to get her to wear her costume. We never tried it on her because she always said "no." So Halloween morning I finally got it on her. She refused to wear the wings though. Later when we put it on again for trick or treat time, I had Mark try with the wings and she had no problem putting them on for daddy. What is with that girl? The wings have cute little lights in them and it was the cutest thing walking behind her blinking down the dark sidewalk. What a vision! I did not get any good pictures of her, but here they are anyway. Some pictures, she looks like punk rock tink. I thought this was a good opportunity to put some makeup on her and her hair looks a bit crazy. And then for some reason, she kept closing her eyes! Then in another picture she was chewing a kit kat with her mouth wide open! So I am very sad to say, I don't even have a decent picture of my beautiful Tink!
